Moving Into Our NEW HOME!

Our house doesn't look THIS bad anymore, but there are definitely many boxes still to be unpacked.

We did have a couple surprises when unpacking...

However, we are now HOME in a semi-permanent way.

Praise God!

Memorial Day Weekend in Oregon

OK. Now that we are (almost) settled and have decent internet access and speed,

I promise to be better at both taking pictures and putting them here for you to enjoy.

I obviously didn't do this during our time with family over Memorial Day.

In fact, all of today's photos were taken within the space of about an hour.

But, here are the few shots that I did get.

It was a great weekend - besides crazy food poisoning.

We had to get a couple things done before we were ready to go to Washington.

We needed to acquire rain boots for all walkers.

We also needed to take our first ever standardized tests! 

I have been dragging my feet for years on this, because it was never required.

Now I am totally sold!

We were blessed with continual time with cousins, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Joe and I actually missed the official day with her, as we were having a Spouse's Weekend in VA.

However, Oma and Opah did a wonderful job making her day special.

And we had to have a follow-up celebration with cousins in Marshall.

It wasn't as crazy as it sounds... really.

With a bit of planning and a homemade carrier, we survived!
