This guy got into markers.

Bumpa and Grandma came bearing gifts from my grandparents. 

This bookcase has found a place, but we are still deciding what to put in it.

For now, it is the perfect stuffed animal playground!

And guess what it did today? 

It "snowed"!

It didn't stick to the ground, but the kids caught a few flakes on their tongues!

A New Year's Visit from Bumpa and Grandma

My parents braved the icy roads and mountain passes 

in order to spend a few days with us just after New Year's.

It was wonderful to see them and have some time to catch up.

There was lots of snuggle time and wrestling.

Prayer together

Dance breaks

Gift opening

Games

And, of course, laughing (and cringing) together to Home Alone!

Welcoming 2020!

A few of us did make it until midnight to greet the coming of 2020.

Hector even woke up just in time to have a sip of 7-up in celebration!

One of us was only present physically.
