New Christmas Season Fun

The Christmas season found us enjoying new games and activities around the house.
We, once again, broke out the main floor pack-n-play to keep Hector out of a bit of trouble.

He and Evangeline found a mutual love of banging on anything available.

Oma completely scored on her Christmas games this year.
Many hours of family fun ensued.

And Thérèse got down to her crafting, resulting in new comfy blankets around the house!

"Snow" Fun

I am leary to say that we had some snow here this year.
It was so absolutely minimal and definitely lasted less than 24 hours.
However, we tried our best to experience it.

Even Hector went out for a "sleigh/sled/basket" ride!

Black Eyes and Books

Through a series of unfortunate events,
Evangeline got a WHOPPER black eye soon after New Year's.

Shockingly, just a few short hours after this picture was taken,
she woke up from a nap excited that her "owie is all gone!"
She was feeling the wrong side of there face!
Obviously, although it looks terrible, it wasn't the most painful of injuries.

The kids around here have been devouring books.
David is tearing through the new set of Usborne graphic novels we recently acquired.
Mom is pre-reading them, as well.
They are very well done.

T and I read through several WWII novels in January and February.
Wow! Powerful stuff!

Oh...and EV requested a picture of one of her favorites.
