I realize that I have not been good at taking pictures recently.

I went to download all pictures off of my camera this morning, and every picture on it was taken by the kiddos.

Goodbye Pics

Well... with school starting and the farm "calling," the fun had to come to an end all too soon.

Here are just a few pics of our last snuggles from our wonderful family from afar.

The Beach

We had absolutely beautiful days at the beach.

The waves were minimal, but present. 

The rain stayed away, but the sun wasn't scorching.

It was beautiful... and fun!

The kids were not fans of the salt water... but it couldn't keep them from swimming!

I had the first shift on the beach. 

My kiddos quickly gravitated in, because they heard that there were COOKIES!

So... I snagged a family pic!

Grandpa is always lots of fun out in the water with the kiddos.

These two were happy just hanging out on the sand, which brought me peace of mind.

We didn't make great sand castles, or have burying sessions, but the sand toys did come out and were enjoyed.

This guy got so covered in sand that I think he looked like one of the sand toys after a bit!

I tried to snag an individual picture of the kiddos with the individual family members who came to visit. 

I only got about 50% successfully taken, but I'm glad I at least got a few!

And grandma got her wish - an entire group picture in front of the waves!

And finally... proof that Romie DID get in the ocean for at least a moment.

The Cottage and Aquarium Near the Beach

My parents spoiled us all by gifting us with a couple days directly across the road from the beach! 

We stayed in a quaint little house, and had some more wonderful family time.

I got the BEST roommates!

They sure got worn out due to all that swimming and goofing around!

The spoiling continued... a golf cart!

This was definitely a high-light for my kiddos.

 AND... there was an aquarium just down the road that we could ALL see for free with our zoo membership!

Yup... we were spoiled with family and fun!

Cousins, Grandparents, Pools, and Micky-D's

We had family visit last us last week! 

It was wonderful, and the weather was absolutely beautiful for our needs.

We could have swum from sun up to sun down, if the pools were open!

Add some silly sunglasses from grandma... perfection!

And we have to keep up with tradition... Micky-D's had to be on the menu for one afternoon!

The Patricks chatted and hung out over burgers.

These two were wonderful buddies the entire week!

What a couple of sweethearts!

And these two really got to know each other quite well.
