With just a couple more days of Christmas remaining,
here are some pics of our Advent.
Our parish held an awesome "Kids' Night Out" event.
Mary and Joseph did their "usual".
They got lost on the way to the manger every morning.
Once found, the kids escorted them to the stable to the tune of "O Come, O Come Emmanuel".
On the Feast of the Immaculate Conception,
Father announced at Mass that it was a steak and red wine day.
Yes, Sir!
We tried out a new fun cookie.
Not so great for eating (picture eating a sugar cookie and suddenly
getting a large piece of jolly rancher instead), but they sure were pretty!
I think we will make them into ornaments next year.

Another new favorite Advent tradition:
"LIGHTING" the house on the Feast of Saint Lucy!
A quick story connected with that:
Evangeline was down for a nap while we put up the tree.
She woke up, and was doing her normal toddling around the house.
"What is that, Mom?"
"Mom, There is a tree in the house!"
"Ooooh!" (her favorite new word)
Love, Us.
