Surprisingly, I have been very let down in the apples here in Washington.
That was the last thing that I thought would be sub-par here.
However, their berries have totally sold me on this state!
I have taken many more pics of our reapings since taking these.
But, in order to get something on the blog, here are pics of our very first locally-harvested sweets.
I now have almost 5 gallon bags of frozen berries ready to be enjoyed in our freezer!
This berry that can be found EVERYWHERE here: The Marionberry (a kind of blackberry).
This is a very small example.
Tacoma also has a HUGE and FREE blueberry park!
We picked this much in 20 minutes a couple weeks ago.
Now they are very ripe and our harvests have been MUCH greater.
Running to the berry bushes!
Love, Us.
