T recently finished her first paying job.
Our neighbors left for a family vacation and took on T as their gardener.
She faithfully watered all of their various plants daily, and she learned a lot about gardening.
And her pay...?
She got to pick and enjoy the produce! (Yes, things DO grow here, just not in our yard.)
She brought home delicious cucumbers, an eggplant, butternut squash, figs, and even a strawberry!
It was a very high-paying gig!
