Some things are backwards from what I'd expected of Washington.
One of these things is our yard.
I thought it would be lush green year-round.
Not so!
It get to be lush near the end of the winter,
and then it quickly becomes more desert than El Paso by early summer.
So...May calls for a once-a-year backyard clean up.
Joe and the kiddos tackled it, and had a great time in the process.
EV and I even supplied them with an outdoor picnic in order to appreciate the nice new yard.
