Magdalene's Birth

 Magdalene was born around 2pm at Tacoma General Hospital on May 12, 2021. She was 6lb 12oz. She was small (for a Librande), but healthy. My surgeon decided to do a vertical skin incision on my abdomen for the c-section. He just didn't want any scar tissue slowing down the surgery. Good thing (Praise God!), because I didn't even need an incision on my uterus. It was "cells thick". So...God-willing, Maggie will be our youngest biological. My uterus has been officially retired. If it is called on for any future work, it will not succeed. 

But...back to Maggie. She was a super sweet (and sleepy) gem from the start! But, she was a great screamer when she came out!
