I will have Joe fill this blog in later, but for now you can enjoy some pictures from Joe's backpacking trip in the Olympics back in June.
These are redundant and in no specific order, and they are only from before the trip, setting off for the trip, and when I picked the men up. If you want to see pictures and videos of the trip, you'll need to ask Joe to share those with you personally.
From Joe: My brother, Fr. Adam Laski, and I wanted to get together for a backpacking trip. We started planning in February to backpack the Bailey Range in the Olympic National Park, but because of COVID, the ONP was still closed when late June came. So, over 4-5 days, we came up with a new plan to hike in the North Cascades (about 50 miles - starting around Ross Lake, moving just south of Copper Ridge, and coming out on the west side of the park). Initially, the team was me, Adam, Fr. Laski, Steve Vandecouvering (Adam's Ex90 brother), and John Hodsdon (Adam's father-in-law). Last minute, Ben Kocheiser (a recent Catholic convert) jumped on board (like, the night before). It was a great team...and there are too many stories to tell. Suffice it to say that grace was everywhere.
