We started out July with a trip to Springfield, MI. We were not the smartest parents in the world - not changing our original plans of going to the zoo, even though it was 100 degrees there! Many of the animals were sleeping, we spent much time walking through sprinklers and drinking water, but we still managed to have a very enjoyable time!
We had to take a picture of these specimens - the "turkey-ducks" as we named them. Everything God has created are beautiful in the true sense of the word, but these were ugly in the simple sense of the word!
David spying on the ducks!
A fun thing about this zoo at this time of the year is that they had some animals that were just visiting - and they were friendly! Here is one, and in addition there were Canadian geese all over the place!
Happy 4th of July! David decided to use the stickers he got from Oma to decorate something other than his picture... and boy he was cute!
A very random picture of me taken by Therese.
A couple shots of Therese doing what she does for most of the day - mothers her many "children".
This Sunday we did some errands after Mass and realized that we had to do something drastic to keep the kids awake on the 15 minute drive home so that they would still take a nap at home. So.......
Life is Good!
