Daddy had the great idea the weekend before the 4th to take the kids fishing at one of the many fishing spots on post. It was FUN! We had great weather, too! Therese caught on to it decently. We should have just got David a stick and some string. Oh.. and we locked our keys in the car! But it was a GREAT DAY!
Look closely - we had a turtle and a heron at the river with us!
...and yes - I was there too!
The kids and I played some games on our little hill next to the apartment one Sunday while Joe very graciously cleaned out our vehicles!

Therese is always asking to draw, write, and color - and she always makes her pieces of art for family or friends. This day, she came to show me the picture she had made for Nancy, Bill, and Gus. She (without any direction from me) had drawn her first stick people - and they were VERY CUTE!
And to finish off June - some random pictures of the kids as they wait for Mama to get ready to go somewhere!
