We had a quiet second day in Wisconsin.
It started with waking up a delicious pancake breakfast, complete with berry syrup,
prepared by Opa before they had left for an earlier Mass.
We then met up with them at a later Mass, followed by a good-bye meal for their parish priest.
We enjoyed delicious food, complete with a side of Hector!
After eating, Patrick found the dirt pit and swam in it.
We then headed home and bided our time as Oma, Opa and T did some to-dos.
These two enjoyed a drippy drainpipe until their were completely soaked.
Then they got out the bubbles.
You may remember a story about the doctor coming into my room
when EV was just an hour or so old.
They were trying to figure out why she wasn't breathing well.
He wanted to let me know that they were tentatively looking at
the possibility that she had Downs Syndrome.
Then our other kids walked down the hall and they immediately said:
"Nope. Just family resemblance!"

Then we had some snuggle time.
The workers returned in time for supper.
Right as we were sitting down to eat, our dear friend Kris arrived.
As usual, she was bearing crafts and laughter.
Oh, and then this guy was super cute, so we had a little photo shoot!
Before bed we did one more art project: drawings/paintings for Oma.
T drew a very detailed scene from Baby Island.
She is getting to be quite the artist.
I chose to copy instead of create.

Oma, who always amazes me with her artistic vision,
made Romeo's paint splotches into a dragon!
We also, of course, fit in as many hugs as possible.
And played many board games!
But, our time had run up.
So, we snagged the official pictures.
