While Joe was finishing out his last few weeks at his prosecution job,
the kids and I took two weeks to go see friends and family in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
It was a truly wonderful time.
Good memories.
Here is the start of our trip.
We were originally planning to drive, but it surprisingly ended up being just as expensive to fly,
considering bringing a relative our way to help with driving, hotels, gas, etc.
So, there I was again...flying with a horde of kids.
The flight to MN was, overall, very smooth.
EV threw up on herself on the drive to the airport, so I was quite nervous,
but it was apparently just motion sickness from freeway stop-and-go traffic.
She was all smiles the rest of the way.
Bye, Washington!
Snacks and a couple magazines, plus some bubbles
for a questionable stomach were all the doctor ordered.
Oh...and bringing a stroller (checked plane-side) was brilliant as a luggage mover!
Aunt ChaCha met us at the airport with Grandma and Bumpa's van.
Talk about a super smooth transition!
As we started our drive to KC, though, the early morning soon caught up with the kiddos.
Love, Us.
