Hike to the Enchanted Valley with the Kids: Day 4

Our 4th Day was our first leg of our hike back out.
We kept all of the hiking days fairly short, though,
so we were able to enjoy the morning before heading out.

Then we packed up camp and started our hike.

FYI: You just may find this picture of Joe's funeral prayer card.

Joe had a blast making up hiking songs along the way.
He had one themed for each kid.

We were happy to find that the camp site we were hoping for right next to the river was available.
We quickly set up camp and got our fire going.

Dad had a bit of a science lesson - showing the kids how they could use whiskey as light fluid.

Mafia!

We had our last fire that night, so the kids had fun throwing flaming spears
into the river before snuffing out the coals.

 Love, Us.
