Dad got the kids out working a couple days ago. David was not as willing of a worker as Thérèse, but after some "encouragement", both kids helped dad to clean up the back yard. It was greatly needed, both because our little bit of grass is heavily watered twice a night and because pigeons REALLY like to defecate on our patio. Mom was VERY glad that it got cleaned up, because she likes to not wear shoes whenever possible, and the bird droppings were hindering her bare-footedness. Thanks, Dad and Kiddos!
