Picnics with Daddy at the Playgrounds - take 2!

We went home for naps, I quick cooked up some pork chops and veggies, and we were back to pick Joe up for picnic number 2 by 5:30pm.  It was a hot evening - just around 90 degrees, and David from the start was pretty flushed, so we were pushing lots of water on them whenever we could, and we attempted to stay out of the sun, but that wasn't quite possible with the combination of kids and a playground!

 Aha!  Daddy had both kids on his side for part of the meal, so you get a little glimpse of our simple fare! 

 Davie snatches a Daddy hug without any known reason - and no reason was needed!

 Therese making sure that she had "1 more" slide available before it was time to go.

 These aren't the best - but I had to get a couple shots of the cute couple!

We said goodbye for the night. The kids chugged their water all the way home...

 and had a cool bath to get them feeling good and sleeping well so that we could meet Daddy for Mass and picnic #3 in the morning!
