A Sunday that Didn't Feel Like Sunday

There have only been one or two Sundays in our married life that Joe and I have actually not gone to Mass on Sunday... not Saturday evening.  So... this was an odd-feeling day for both of us.  When he called in the evening, we conferred on the subject, and agreed that it was the only way to "do" the on-Post weekend, but it did make Sunday a bit strange.

So... instead of our usual Sunday afternoon movie, we watched our movie in the morning.  Therese picked out Monsters Inc., which is always fun.  We played with Legos, had the rest of the split pea and after nap time decided to check and see if the pool had warmed up at all over the weekend.

We were greeted at the pond with a rainbow that could be seen in the fountain mist!

 And the water was maybe a degree or two warmer than before... but still not a swimming temperature!  T is definitely her mother's daughter, though, and no matter if you have frozen limbs afterward or not, she wants to at least get in before abandoning ship!

 And David just yearned for the outside run-around world of the jungle-gym... where we soon headed.

 Although the water was cold, it was HOT outside!  I had to document our first sun screen day!

Fun in our swim suits... I'm sorry if this is inappropriate at all, but I think little T's little swimsuit wedgie is too cute to let go by without commenting on it!

And we had a Sunday special for supper... oatmeal!  And boy did they scarf it down!
